YouTube Add-On

I've tried to play some videos on YouTube and get the pop-up (at top):

"An add-on for this website failed to run. Check the security settings in Internet Options for potentional conflicts."

The video still plays when I close the pop-up box. I only get this pop-up on some videos; other videos play with no problem/pop-up!
I have not seen this before. I am using IE8 (don't want to upgrade to IE 9 just yet).

The only recent updates were to Flash and Shockwave, which I don't think could be causing this pop-up. Has me a bit confused because I am not too familiar with "add-ons," etc.

Someone said this might have something to do with Adobe Flash. I've never had this "pop-up" in the past. Only now after I installed the new version of Flash.

Can anyone help.

My IE 8 shows =

Toolbars and Extensions

Adobe Systems Inc

Shockwave Flash Object

version 11.0.1.152

Should it also show Flash Player?

Shockwave Flash Object is Flash Player.

Can you post a sample URL where you get this pop-up?

It seems that I am getting this pop-up on other sites also. I've gone to YouTube and gotten a message and when I copied the address (to post here), I doulble checked it by putting it in the address bar and then I ran it and there was no pop-up. On the other sites I just closed the pop-up window and the page displayed.

Would you know why I am getting this pop-up now (don't believe I ever got it before)? As I mentioned I just recently downloaded the newest Flash Player (and Shockwave) and wonder if that could be causing a problem?

If I close the pop-up, the page can be viewed. I went back to same site again (not YouTube) and I didn't get the pop-up!

My IE8 Security leverl is set at Medium.

I am using SpyBot and SpywareBlaster, but don't think they are causing a problem because I've been using them for a long time.

Wondering what to do about this pop-up? Just ignore it?

I don't know what that pop-up is; I don't think it is caused by Flash Player.  Can you check with Youtube support or help if they know anything about it?
