YouTube and Flash Player problem

Hello, in order to watch videos on YouTube I had to instal the latest version of Flash Player (10.1 I think).  I installed it and the instalation completed so I went back to YouTube and it still wouldn't let me watch, so I refreshed the page and it still wouldn't work.  I then uninstalled the flash player then re-installed it and it still will not work.  Any ideas on what I should do now?

Thanks.

Hi, Look in your IE Tools, Manage addons for Shockwave Flash Object. This is the ActiveX Control for Flash Player. Make sure it's Installed, Enabled and is the version you just Installed. (10.1.102.64)

You also need to post your Operating System, 64bit OS or 32bit OS, and browser(s) and versions. That is just basic information that is needed.

I've had the same problem. I've checked all the proxy settings, uninstalled with Adobe uninstaller, re-installed. Cannot find the program anywhere on the computer except on the uninstall programs list. The only thing i have noticed that is wrong is that when i go to internet explorer Tools and manage browser add ons and look there is no Shockwave Flash object. Im running Windows Vista with a 32 bit system.
