ive just installed xp on a new pc. ive installed windows updates, aswell as an antivirus program, aswell as nvidia firewall which comes with the asus a8n drivers for the motherboard. also downloaded latest adobe flash player.

when i play a youtube video it only plays to 39, or 59 seconds or so and then atuomatically stops the video, and resets to 0:00. ive heard there is a problem with the nvidia firewall and making downloadable files, things corrupt. ive deleted the nvidia firewall and using the Xp built in one but still getting the problem. do i have a corrupted something? why cant i view full youtube videos on IE or mozilla? when i download files it says they are corrupt sometimes also and cant acess them.

I am also running an nvidia firewall and asus drivers on xp pro.

Streaming videos for me run ~1 min before giving up the ghost.

I get the same messages about corrupt files.

I've disabled the nvidia firewall and not had any luck in either IE or mozilla.
