Hi,

Please try the following:

  1. Download the current uninstaller: Uninstaller for Windows
  2. Download the current Flash Player PPAPI Plugin for Opera: Flash Player for Opera and Chromium-based browsers - PPAPI
  3. Close all browser windows, and any other application that may use Flash Player (e.g. instant messaging clients, etc) and run the uninstaller
  4. Restart Windows. 

    If you are using Windows 8 or 8.1, do NOT perform steps 5 and 6.

  5. Delete all remaining files (except for the FlashInstall.log file) and folders located in the following directories.  (tip: copy and paste these paths into the path bar in an Explorer window)
    • C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash - do not delete FlashInstall.log file
    • C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash (if you are using a 64-bit system) - do not delete FlashInstall.log file
    • %appdata%\Adobe\Flash Player
    • %appdata%\Macromedia\Flash Player
  6. Verify that the files “FlashPlayerCPLApp.cpl”, "FlashPlayerApp.exe", and "FlashPlayerInstaller.exe" in C:\Windows\system32\ (for 32-bit systems) or C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ (if you are using a 64-bit system) have been deleted.
  7. Close all browser windows, and any other application that may use Flash Player (e.g. instant messaging clients, etc), and run the installer downloaded in step 2
  8. Flash Player should be installed.  If not, post new a new FlashInstall.log file.

Hi,

There is no need to post 3 times within 10 minute.  These are primarily user-to-user forums and staff participates when they can.  It is not realistic to expect a reply within 5 - 10 minutes of posting.  I have deleted your other duplicate posts.

What Windows version is this?

I will need the FlashInstall.log file to troubleshoot further. The file is saved at C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash.  If this is a 64-bit operating system, another FlashInstall.log file is saved at C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash.  Both files are required from a 64-bit operating system.  Upload the file(s) to cloud.acrobat.com using the instructions at How to share a document or another file sharing service that does not require log-in to access.  Post the link to the uploaded file(s) in your reply.
