Adding column

Hi

I want to divide only the selected text among the different colums rather the whole text of the container.

How it is possible?

What I have tried is first I set the colum count and column gap and then try to apply this format on the leaf level but it doesn't work.It work perfectly when applied on container level.

The column properties apply only to containers. They have no effect on paragraph elements.

So the only way to achieve what you describe is by dividing your TextFlow into multiple containers.

I don't know if this will change/improve in TLF2.0, unfortunately the TLF team isn't very open in what to expect and when. I am still hoping they will share there plans / roadmap with all of us so we'll be able to adjust / adapt our own planning to theirs and give them some - I would think - valuable input in what the community would like to see implemented.
