Question

Best way to keep up with all TLF releases?

I'm going to be making use of the TLF for a large-scale project (18 months or more) and need to use the new advanced layout features (images floats in particular at this point) - What is the best way to keep up with all changes and updates to the TLF?

Is it included in the Flex 4.x nightly builds or will I need to keep it updated separately?

Sorry, haven't ever had to stay right on top of any cutting-edge projects before, would appreciate a little guidance if possible : )

Thanks

Sounds great! The easiest way to keep up is to get TLF with Flex 4.x. But if you want updates more frequently than that (they do not pick up TLF daily), then you can get it from our open source depot on SourceForge: http://sourceforge.net/adobe/tlf/home/. So if there is a bug fix or something you need, and Flex doesn't have it yet, you could get it sooner off of SourceForge. It may occasionally happen that TLF and Flex are out of sync for short periods of time if TLF has to make an API change and Flex hasn't made it yet. So unless you need a more recent version, I would stick with the one in Flex.

Hope that helps,
