Question

BlazeDs data service does not get deployed through embedded jetty in JDK 8

In my project, the java data service is deployed as part of a web application 'app1' through BlazeDS in embedded Jetty (mortbay jetty version 6.1.5). The data service is exposed through url 'http://server:port/app1/messagebroker/amf' and so, the flex client uses this url to fetch the data from it. In java, the web application is configured and deployed dynamically and this code and this setup works perfectly fine in JDK7. But right now, we are validating this setup with JDK8 as we need to migrate our app to JDK8. But the above same setup does not work, in the sense, the web application deploys properly, but the blazeDS channels are not configured in jetty and so, accessing the URL ''http://server:port/app1/messagebroker/amf' throws HTTP 404  error.

The java code snippet which dynamically loads the webapplication is below. Also, the web.xml and services-config.xml files used in application are also given below for referernce. Can you give some pointer that what is wrong and why the amf channels are not deployed in JDK8?

Note: I tried with latest eclipse jetty (9* version ) also, but faces the same issue.

String webAppLocation = "root_app";
Server server = new Server(port);

WebAppContext app1 = new WebAppContext();
app1.setContextPath("/app1");
String appPath1 = webAppLocation.concat("/app1");
app1.setWar(appPath);
server.addHandler(app1);

WebAppContext rootApp = new WebAppContext();
rootApp.setContextPath("/");
rootApp.setWar(webAppLocation);
server.addHandler(rootApp);
server.start();

web.xml for 'app1'::
