Cannot launch FB release.

hi,

I installed the Flash Builder release (standalone for Windows) in my desktop. But I failed to launch it. I caught some messages in log file. Can anyone give me some suggestion? Thanks.

    To rule out licensing problems, will you post your amt3.log file, located in your tmp folder?

    If you can't find the relevant tmp folder, try opening a cmd window, and type: cd %tmp%

    I cannot find this file via search

    going the cmd window route i get a result of

    c:\Users\Andrew\AppData\Local\Temp

    version

    This also does not appear to exist

    Not sure what you mean by licensing. Im jsut a sole user trying to use the trial version

    I forgot appdata was a hidden folder. Below is log file

    Let me show you my spec.

    1. OS: WinXP Prof SP3

    2. JDK: Sun JDK 1.5 update 22

    3. I install it using a user with administrator rights

    4. In the c:\documents and settings\user\Adobe Flash Builder 4\.metadata\.log, I found the message in this original post

      I am running Windows XP SP3.  English.  Install path is

      C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash Builder 4

      This is the standalone build.  I have the latest Java update ( 1.6 ).  I found the same log messages in

      C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Adobe Flash Builder 4\.metadata

      that the original poster has put up.  Hope this helps!
