Question

Copy InlineGraphicElement as text

Hello,

I have a chat with the support of smiles:

When I copy the contents to clipboard I get the following output:

User1 19:59﷯Lorem ipsum ﷯ 19:59﷯Lorem ipsum ﷯ User2 19:59﷯Lorem ipsum ﷯

Is it possible to define alternative text for graphic element and get something like this?

User1 19:59: Lorem ipsum :) 19:59: Lorem ipsum :) User2 19:59: Lorem ipsum 🙂

Thanks.

Interesting idea.  There is no support for that in TLF at this time.

It might be possible to override the proper set of APIs in EditManager and modify operations to make that happen but it would take some research.

Hope that helps,

Richard

I found another problem associated with the above. Copied text with graphics (0xFDEF char) can not be send as a message in Skype.
