Flex Datagrid Scrolls Uneccessarily

I am using an Mx version of flex data grid with the flex 4.6 sdk, i enabled the datagrid editable property, however whenever i click on one of the editable columns the datagrid scrolls to another editable column instead of the clicked column.

Another problem,

For example when click on row 2 after editing row 1 the datagrid scrolls to row 2 and scrolls row 1 out of view on the datagrid

please how do i fix these issues thank you for your help
