Flex SDK installation-Im confused?

hello

I have downloaded and extracted the files that I need for Flex SDK, however, wondering where to start it up at?  Help? All I see is a bunch of folders and no where to begin..

Any help would be appreciated!

I guess you are at the same point, at which I was recently

First of all you need Flex Builder 2 or 3. The latter is better. Then here's the document: http://livedocs.adobe.com/flex/3/html/help.html?content=build_6.html#162812. The answer lies near the bottom: "Using multiple SDKs in Flex Builder".

This forum is for folks developing the SDK itself, I assume you're trying to figure out how to just get started with Flex development. Take a look at the getting started guides on the dev center http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flex, for example the Learn Flex in a week and the quickstarts.
