How convert to https an existing http Flex application

Have an Adobe Flex application. Want to load it in a web browser using HTTPS rather than HTTP.

Are there documentation and examples available on how to perform this?

In my opinion, this does not have anything to do with flex. Its your container(Tomcat/JBoss) where cconfiguration changes will go.
