how do i use the google play public key

A brand new licensing key has been added to the android google play upload. it appears to only be possible to add this key using native android sdk!?

Q: how do i use the google play public key to sign my mobile air app?

I read http://developer.android.com/tools/publishing/app-signing.html

I still dont understand what to do with the new application public key. can this public key be added to the digital certificate that the flex exporter created?

All I get on uploading the .apk is this

Upload failed

You uploaded an APK with invalid or missing signing information for some of its files. You need to create a valid signed APK. Learn more about signing.

Please help.
