I`am trying to change inline graphics in textFlowI tried in both ways:1. Directly - find image node (by getElementByID) and change it source field2. By EditManager.modifyInlineGraphicNo luck. Image stays the same, I can only change the size of it.What did I do wrong?

Application doesn't load if I use RSL. Does only Flash Player 10.xxx  support RSL?

Are there any plans for code coverage tools in Flex 4/FlexUnit4? Maybe integration of Flexcover?

I initially noticed this behavior in our application and verified it in the TLF demo application.  After I change the font, I press enter to get to a new line.  Then I change the font to something else and start typing.  If I hit the backspace, then my current font will change to the font that I had on the previous line.  When I type new characters then they have the format of the previous line even though none of the text around it has that format.We have noticed that after you start typing with the new font if you look at the markup there is still a span hanging around with the old font size:<flow:span fontWeight="bold" fontSize="72">asdf</flow:span><flow:span fontWeight="bold" fontSize="36"></flow:span></flow:p></flow:TextFlow>Here is what I did.http://screencast.com/t/Cl4uChm1jXThanks,Joel

How do I create a numbered/bulleted list using TLF? I.e. something akin to <ol> or <ul> in HTML. The new Adobe Presentations appear to have both and they supposedly use TLF, so I figured there would be built-in support for it?

Hey Chet,Have you done any work in supporting layout effects, or data effects, in Spark?  If not, any plans or ideas on how you might do them?Here are some issues I've run into:1) Infinite loops for the layout/effect cycle.  If the Effect is called in the layouts "updateDisplayList" method, after the Effect finishes (these are all Animate extending effects), it sets "autoLayout" to true, which causes the layout to run again and again.2) If I prevent that, by commenting out the code, the x/y/z values in the transform are never set to rounded numbers so "changedXY" is run cyclically.3) The explicit/percent/measured widths don't seem to function quite right when running effects because the effect sets x/y/z/width/height directly, rather than through "setActualSize", "setLayoutBoundsSize", "move", etc.  I have set up a layout animation system with TweenMax that uses these methods to update position and size in the layouts and it works perfectly, without excess events, withou

Hey,I just noticed that clipAndEnableScrolling was removed from the SkinnableContainer/SkinnableDataContainer and am wondering why.  I would like to be able to set this to true in a SkinnableContainer, so the Group can have an arbitrary size and I can drag it around inside of the fixed-sized SkinnableContainer (for instance, if an Image is large, and I can only see 1/4 of it, I would like to be able to drag it around to crop it, using skinnable container with the contentGroup having a contentWidth/contentHeight of the image, to the right size, but I need clipAndEnableScrolling).Is there any work around for this, or what's the plan?  I would like to update the scrollRect on a contentGroup inside the SkinnableContainer, that's it , using clipAndEnableScrolling.Thanks for the help,Lance

Does anybody inhere know the well grounded and objective reason why TextFlow class was marked as final?This flow doesn't sounds to me like true extensible, they are promoting TLF as easy to extend framework public finalclass TextFlowpublic finalclass ParagraphElementpublic finalclass LinkElement??? nevertheless TLF is OpenSource, but why in a world they do that out of the box?

How do you insert a tab using the Tab key, assuming you still want the component to be focusable?  And how do you insert a tab?

Hi   It is impressive to see the Timers Reader,  implemented by AIR and TLF,   As we open the Timers Reader,  the first page into your eyes are a bunch of top news headlines.  I am trying to figure out how to create this by TLF ? is each headline a paragraph element of TextFlow  or  a container of TextFlow  ,  or just a  TextFlow ?

We were seeing some performance issues when editing documents and noticed that it was occurring in documents that had underlined text.  The issue was that any text line that contain underlined FlowLeafElements was getting extra Adornment Shapes added when the TextLine was reused during compose. The code in question begins in BaseCompose.finishComposeLine:         protected function finishComposeLine(curLine:TextFlowLine, lineSlug:Rectangle):void    {           ...       curLine.createAdornments(_blockProgression,_curElement,_curElementStart);    }    The issue is that createAdornments does not check if the TextFlowLine already had Adornment shapes (for drawing the underlines) before updating and then adds another "Shape" object.   The net effect is that the TextLine in the display list gets redundant Shapes and performance begins to su

TextBlock.createTextLine() renders as much text as in can within a given width.  Is there any way to create a TextLine with a specific number of characters or create a TextLine with a maximum number of characters?

how can i find text field X position,Y position,width and height? and All the text field properties?

When I have a line that doesn't fit a single word, instead of trying again on the next parcel where it might fit, TLF (or maybe text.engine)  splits the single word between multiple lines.  Is there any way to change this behavior?

In last couple of weeks I've posted some bugs related to TLF at bugs.adobe.com/jira under "Flex SDK" project. In "Component/s" I've selected ".Unspecified - Framework" because TLF is not listed there. Is that the right way for reporting TLF bugs? In the past week I started to delved thru several blogs, livedocs and api articles on TLF, and noticed in some XML data to be used in TLF uses a namespace, such as 'flow'.  What benefits are there currently and/or in the near future of using them?  And is it advisably to have exisiting data to use a namespace?By the way, this framework gives me goosebumps.   Can't wait to start producing some work from it.
