Line Breaks

I want "breakOpportunity  = ALL" for some areas of text and "breakOpportunity = AUTO" on others.  Is there any way to do this on the fly?  I keep getting  "Error #2184: The ElementFormat object is locked and cannot be modified." when I try to edit this property during composition.

Are you trying to directly modify the ElementFormat attached to a ContentElement?  Once the ElementFormat is attached it can't be modified.

TLF doesn't support

a) reaching underneath and modifying the flash.text.engine objects

b) changing TLF attributes during composition
