Position of underline stroke

Hi,

Is there any way to control the positioning of the stroke underlining text? I'm finding that it is positioned far too close to the bottom of the text so that the bottoms of the letters are lost?

The underline is placed according to what the font specifies. There is no way to override the automatic positioning, I'm sorry.
