Scam Alert!

When you Google most Adobe products now, one of the first sponsored links that comes up is to a website called https://agsoftwarestore.com/ that claims to sell Adobe products for a huge discount. Stupidly, I fell for the scam and purchased a key for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. When I entered the key, I got a message that said it had already been used. I've been going back and forth with the owner of this company for nearly a month trying to get my money back, and he finally did today, but I don't want anyone else to go through this. He keeps telling me I entered the key wrong, that I'm a bad person for trying to screw his company over because he's 21 and just trying to help people, etc. It's obviously a scam and they guy refuses to admit to it. I've been posting negative reviews anywhere I can to alert people, but the site really needs to get taken down. I reported it to the fraud division of the FBI, the BBB, basically anywhere I can think of but nothing is being done. This guy is scamming people out of their money every day (he's at the top of Google results when you search for an Adobe product, for crying out loud) and no one seems concerned that the website is still up! I just thought I would post this here ad let everyone know so nobody else falls for it!

Just had a very similar story with a guy on eBay... though after a few highly threatening messages regarding reporting his account to eBay & PayPal, he did refund me. The keys were deemed "recalled" by adobe due to fraud & non genuine licensing.

The guy's eBay id is:

processsolutions1

And his PayPal is:

Name: Mykola Volosianko

Email: vlodvolos2017@gmail.com

From what you guys have described about his english language writing - I'm highly suspicious it is the very same guy. He keeps being extremely unclear, with broken up words making no sense.

Though his name does indeed very much sound Ukrainian. Others may comment on this.

I am afraid I just lost some money to this guy. I bought photoshop Cs6 for my mac. He send me a key that upon trying to install with, said it was not valid. Petty thivery shouldnt be tolerated. Its about time he made an honest living like everyone else. Wish me luck.

I also fell for the scam, but they didn't even give me a code. They said it was the digital version than said they would ship it to me... I feel so dumb! I would like to note that the website has changed their name to A&G Software Store. Does anyone know of a way to shut this place down? Also, someone might want to sue. Who knows? You might get some cash out of that lawsuit.

Hey dallassh14630533, I think it's a mini-miracle I got my money back, since most people who have been scammed by this guy have not. The very first thing I did when I learned the key had already been used was message the guy on Facebook. Facebook said he read my message but he never replied. I then posted a negative review on his Facebook and that got his attention. He messaged me back but kept giving me the run around. So I posted negative reviews on a bunch of other websites, including his own (I wasn't thinking I'd get my money back, just trying to prevent other people falling victim) and after I posted the review on his website he e-mailed me (funny enough, he deleted my negative review from both his Facebook and his website..not suspicious at all). We went back and forth for a long time again. He told me to send a screenshot proving the key was invalid, so I did. He then said that it didn't count because I tried entering the key on the Adobe website and not on the app itself, which is a load of you know what. I finally sent him a screenshot within the Adobe app even though I shouldn't have had to, and he refunded my money. I also threatened him a lot with more negative reviews. Maybe that helped my case? Good luck getting your money back. I'd start with the negative reviews everywhere. As you can see from above, he stalks websites like this looking for negative reviews so he can try to cover them up. Have you ever seen a legitimate company do that? This is the e-mail he contacted me from: info@agsoftwarestore.com

(Good luck reading anything he writes though. His English is awful for someone who claims to live in Canada)
