Sdk 3 nightly build compiler error messages

Since Ive installed the flex 3 sdk nightly build (flex_sdk_3.0.1.1739) my compiler error messages are part english, part dutch.

How can I change this to be English only ?

(and where can I find information about this? All Im able to find are questions/answers on how to localize your flex application, but not the compiler messages itself)

(I'm using FlashDevelop 3 beta 7 and flex sdk 3.0.1.1739 nightly build)

Yep, that fixed it.

I'm not using flexBuilder, but FlashDevelop (www.flashdevelop.org)
which compiles using the flex compiler shell.

Thank you

A note I got from the inside said:
It should be -Duser.language=en -Duser.country=US

Also I believe setting it in jvm.config would only apply to compiles done via command line. For FB it should go to the FlexBuilder.ini (or if you're using the Eclipse plugin it might be a different ini in the Eclipse folder).

If it's not gone away, log a bug in Jira, so at least it'll be double checked
for any 'real' release.

I take it you mean java.args? I don't see a jvmargs line..

I've changed the line into this :

java.args=-Xmx384m -Dsun.io.useCanonCaches=false -Duser.language=en

But no joy, still partially Dutch messages.

I think in your jvm.config you need to set -Duser.language=en on the jvmargs line. We might need to get this into the docs, we hadn't really localized the error messages before.<br /><br />Matt<br /><br /><br />On 5/20/08 7:31 AM, "martijn croezen" <member@adobeforums.com> wrote:<br /><br />A new discussion was started by martijn croezen in<br /><br />Developers --<br /> Sdk 3 nightly build compiler error messages<br /><br />Since I've installed the flex 3 sdk nightly build (flex_sdk_3.0.1.1739) my compiler error messages are part english, part dutch.<br /><br />How can I change this to be English only ?<br /><br />(and where can I find information about this?
