Setup TLF

Hi,

I downloaded the last build (437) of TLF and added the .swc file to the directory:

  C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash CS4\Common\Configuration\Components

I have a test application in Flash 4 and as3 that was working with the previous

version of TLF: now when I publish the movie, compiler writes this error in output panel:

ReferenceError: Error #1065: Variable TextLayout is not defined.

ReferenceError: Error #1065: Variable ComponentShim is not defined.

Now,

I installed the Text Layout Flash Component.mxp

and I have this error:

EditManager (Compiled Clip), Line 1:

5000: The class 'flashx.textLayout.edit.EditManager' must subclass 'flash.display.MovieClip' since it is linked to a library symbol of that type.

The TLF Component for Flash CS4 only works with the original TLF release made in November. To use the newer TLF drops, you will have to compile with Flex.
