Revision 5653 broke measurement for comboboxes. This checkin fixes it.
The compatibility version check for ComboBase border is slightly different now:
old behavior: ComboBase always created and showed the border object, even though it was obscured by other items
new behavior: ComboBase creates the border, but hides it
