text layout is not appear in components panel

text layout extension installed, extension manager show it but it is not appear in components panel,
where is the problem?

i find Text Layout files in "\Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe\Flash CS4\NIL\Configuration" and then copy files to "\Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe\Flash CS4\en\Configuration"
and then my problem is solved.
i use win xp and language is farsi.

thx guys,

I'm using Vista sp3

copy from

C:\Users\z\AppData\Local\Adobe\Flash CS4\he\Configuration

to

C:\Users\z\AppData\Local\Adobe\Flash CS4\en\Configuration

now lets see how the component works :-)

i have the same problem,
except
i dont have the NIL folder so
i copied the folders from
"\Local Settings\Adobe\Flash CS4\ar\Configuration" to
"\Local Settings\Adobe\Flash CS4\en\Configuration",
now it works.

Are you working from an ActionScript 3.0 Flash File? TextLayout will only be listed in the Standard Components section of the panel if you are working from a supported file type.

If the extension is installed and you are using a file type supporting AS3 and you are still not seeing the component, then can you provide me more details about your Flash CS4 installation? What operating system are you running on? What language?
