Assignment name is missing

Hello,

I am new to inCopy and I have a small problem.

When I open an InDesign file in InCopy, I can see my content and I can check it out also.]

icml file is linked to document but I am still cannot see it in assignment panel.

yes, a bug that was never fixed in CC  2018 (fixed in CC 2019 tho).  In CC 2018  you'd need to copy/paste the text to a new frame, delete the one you Placed as an ICML file, then export the new one to InCopy format.

Did you place that InCopy content into an InDesign file or just export the content? There was bug in CC2018 where if you placed an ICML file it would not show up in the assignments panel.

Hi Bob,

Yes, I placed it. In InDesign everything is fine. I can see the file in the assignment panel, and check in or out.

I just cannot see it in InCopy.

The bug still exist?
