Deleting assigments in InDesign

Hello,

 

I have an InDesign document with assigments for InCopy editing.

If I update the assigments in the InDesign, and I save the file, can I delete the assigments from the inDesign? Is it safe?

Yes. In fact, if you're done with the collaborative process, I would consider it best practice to do so.
