How to upgrade InCopy2017 to InCopy2018?

Besides complete CC accounts we have two licenses for only InCopy.

The Creative Cloud app (updated) on their Macs (Sierra) does not offer an update for InCopy2017 to InCopy2018.

InCopy 2017 does not open an InDesign 2018 file.

Our workaround is at the moment that the InCopy users open the .icma file.

But this method has some issues.

How do these two accounts install InCopy 2018?

It should show up as InCopy CC. For some odd reason Adobe has changed the way they label the apps.

If it’s still not there, log out and log back in.

Please try that & share the result. If the issue persists, I'll loop in a 'Download & Install' expert to help you further.

Hi Om,

It does not show up as InCopy CC. Only the InCopy 2017 is shown.

I Provide two editors on two locations with a license of InCopy (only).

On both Macs it is the same situation.

Both editors can edit text only by opening the .icma file.

Scrolling down her is not helpfull

Hope to find a solution,

regards,

Huibert
