Question

Incopy

I purchased Incopy - As a low cost script writing tool.

Outside of the standard {Code orientated - .txt format}

Why the software requires 16GB of RAM in order to function doesn't even make sense.

It doesn't use GPU or any processor functions.

So what's up with that ???

... Does anyone even reply here ... {I'm not sure}

    InCopy is capable of opening and displaying INDD files which require that much RAM. InCopy is a writing/editing companion to InDesign. If you're not using it for that, I'm not sure it's the proper tool for you.

    It'll install and barely run on 8GB but I do not recommend it.

    HI thanks for your reply and deciphering my post.

    Of course INDD. I do use this - But not continuously - I just have the thought in today's all online enviroment.

    A text based tool outside of the usual {Let's make an {APP}} code stream - Could be useful.

    INDD + Incopy of course

    But there's already so much documentation and so forth online and etc ... Global warming points to simple methods to trim those relays. Must start somewhere.
