InCopy no longer appearing in Edit menu, can't update .incx

Hey guys,

I'm running CS3 (I know, I've tried to get work to update but they refuse). I started noticing an issue where formatting was being stripped from .doc files, so I reinstalled CS3, and have cause myself even more dramas.

Now, "InCopy" no longer appears in the Edit menu, and I can't export .incx files anymore. This is a critical part of our workflow and I need to get it back. I also can't update .incx files that have been updated by our writers -- equally as important to our workflow. I get the error message "Cannot place this file. No filter found for requested operation."

Any help? As I said, I've just reinstalled, so that shouldn't be the issue.
