InDesign and InCopy on different OS (Mac and Windows)

If InDesign is installed on Windows of layout designer, and InCopy is installed on Mac of editor, will this work?

    Yes. Be sure both are on the same version InDesign 2020 and InCopy 2020 and that both are using Opentype fonts only.
