Notes mode in InCopy CC

Using InCopy CC
2014.2 Release
10.2.1.103 Build

Sometimes the default for typing within a note is italic.

Any way to fix/change this?

Would you mind sharing a screenshot of it? I am not able to replicate it in InCopy CC 2018 (13.0.1). Did you check it in a newer version as well?
