Parallel text editing InDesign / InCopy

We got the problem that connected texts in indesign documents can be edited by more than one user.

Usually you the message "The text is being edited by ****" but here we wont get it.

This parallel editing leads to losses of changes in those texts.

We use InCopy CC 2017/2015 and InDesign CC 2017/2015.

Any ideas?

This sounds like a problem with the file server not locking the stories appropriately on checkout. Our TruEdit platform does not rely on local file servers and thus can prevent this kind of thing from happening.
