Problem populating pages in InCopy

Good morning!

After repeated attempts to open InCopy files on my computer, I’m asking you for your help. My colleague is on Mac. I am on PC. He designs projects in InDesign, then places the files in InCopy for me to edit. On a couple of projects, when he loads to InCopy, he can see the files, but I can’t (see attached). Shows up as a blank screen.

He was able to fix the problem one time by Unlinking project from InCopy, deleting it and reassigning it, and it worked. He tried it again with recent project and it didn’t work.

We are both working in the same versions of InDesign/InCopy (version 16.1). I have tried refreshing/updating ...everything I can think of. No luck.

Please help. This software is essential to our production process.

Stop using assignments and just open the INDD file in InCopy.

    Thanks Bob!
