Tips for Easier Frame Selection in InCopy?

Hi.

Does anyone have tips for making it easier to select and edit text frames in InCopy? We've got lots of overlapping frames, and it's tricky to tell which one we're working on. Any advice for clearer frame selection or switching?
Would love to hear your tricks or tools that make this smoother. Thank you!
Angie

You can use the layers panel, but you might want to talk with the InDesign user. That sounds like some sloppy document creation.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

Our design actually looks like the one below. While the subheadline, author, and quote frames need to be overlapping with the body text, users would jump around these frames to edit text. Sometimes they get confused about which frames they're working on. Is there any way to get a visual indicator for the text frame currently being edited? For example, getting a colored border around that frame, etc.

Use the galley view if it's that confusing. You can even split the view if you have the screen real estate so you can edit in one window and see the layout result in the other. You can do this by using the Window > Arrange > New Window.

Bottom line is that any real adjustments to the layout are going to have to be done in the InDesign file to avoid this type of thing.
