Updating InCopy assignments in ID, text spacing has improperly reflowed.

How do I stop a reflow of text that has been edited in InCopy when I update the assignment in InDesign?

I need to select all the copy and reapply the Optical spacing option to get it to fit my layout again.

In this example, the end of the story is not even visible until I do this step.

I've seen this as well. And I've seen it with identical fonts with all users using the same Creative Cloud versions. Mainly it's been with CC2015. In our case exporting out the stories and reimporting them resolves the issue throughout the document.

I am using CC2017 and it only seemed to happen after upgrading from CC2015.

I will try your suggestion next time it happens. Thank you.

Is the InCopy user, using the same version of InCopy that you are of InDesign? Are you both using the exact same font?

The editors work on Mac computers also. I will verify they are using the same version. Pretty confident they are using my fonts.
