XMP information for images cannot be copied in InCopy CC2019

When viewing (scrolling) or trying to copy XMP data in InCopy CC2019 the data is greyed out. The scroll bars in the XMP info window do not work and you cannot highlight the text to copy it to a text editor. 

 

This issue seems to have been fixed in InDesign CC2019 (14.0.3), but InCopy is still at release version 14.0.2 and still has this bug.

Hi Bob,

 

Unfortunately we use InDesign/InCopy in conjuction with a publishing system which will not release 2020 plugins until Q2 this year. It seems odd that ID and IC versions are out of sync and that a known bug has been patched in ID but not IC.

I'm only suggesting it to find out if it is indeed fixed there. It will certainly never be addressed in 2019.

If you check it now you can at least file a bug report it on it and have some hope of a fix.
