About the use of the developer key

I am a newbie to Flash :[

I am trying to create a multi-player game and I found a VideoPhone sample that each client must have a key.

But in this forum, I found a MMORPG that do not need any key for login.

How can I do to implement this?

    I did not get your question clearly - can you elaborate what exactly you are looking for?

    The video phone example in the Adobe lab ask us to enter the developer key to start the connection and to call others.

    But I want to make a game which doesn't need the users to have a developer key. The users can simply type a name and then the game will start the connection automatically. How can I implement this?

    Do I need to get a number of developer keys for distributing to the users when the users login?

    Or, only one developer key is okay to implement it?

    I have not used the application you are talking about - but I am guessing its based on Cirrus - can you send me exact link of the Video Phone.
