Hi,

I learned from some previous post that the default encoding format used when you publish the camera from a Flash player is Soreson. I'm wondering whether it is possible to select to use other codec such as VP2 or H.264? Thanks.

Weikai.

    Hi,

Flash Player only supports Sorenson H.263 and ON2 VP6. You will have to use some other publisher to publish the codec which you need. FMLE supports H.264.

Hey sorry for the wrong info in the previous reply.

You can only use Sorenson Spark H.263 for publishing from Flash Player. For other video codecs you will have to use other encoding devices.
