Adding graphics to Camera stream

Hi all!

I have a delicate question for you which i cant find an answer to.

Problem:

I want to add an object (lets say it's a logo) to a camera stream before i save it to the FMIS. So the logo is integrated with the camera as it would have been placed in a layer above.

Is that possible and if it is, how do i do it?

It is quite urgent so any quick tips or solutions are more than welcome!

Thank you,

Carl

Ok. I have a solution for you.

If you want to add a logo on your cam live stream, you can achieve this by using a virtual web-cam software.

There are many out there, and some of the best free-ones are super web cam ( http://www.superwebcam.com ) and many cam ( http://www.manycam.com ). I would preffer the first one.

In your Flash Media Live Encoder (which is free as well), after installing and running one of the mention software, you can choose it as a device from a drop down menu. (See attached image)

In Super Web Cam you can add not only your logo, but many other visual effect as well. (See attached image).

Hopefully, I answered your question. If so, please mark it as such, because I'm sure that there are other people wanting to know the same answer...

You can also give some positve feedback to my account as well

Well, thanks for sharing. Is it programmable? I mean can I change the graphic by server-side ActionScript code on the fly?

    Thanks!
