Administration API to get log?

Hi,

is there a way to get live log (traces and errors) from application instance via Administration API?

    There is no Admin API which does that but i am just thinking why one would want to have Admin API to read file, you can always use say File API to do that.

    The guy might be referring to the Server Log thing in the Manage Servers category which i think is not exposed to us. Which is a big pity.

    Hey hi Petro, but Server logs in Manage Server tab displays not much of info, i would say it displays which is subset of diagonstic logs. I do understand we would like to have more features but do you think is it pain point that we don't API which returns you all text information from log files. I think instead of such Admin API, it would be better to have tool which does useful parsing and then displays info to you. But again coming to the question, do you really think it big pity that FMS does not provide Admin API which does nothing but outputs out text information from logs?
