Dear members,

Has anyone tried to integrate Adobe Media Server with Cisco CUCM for the Voice/Video on hold?

I'm new to Adobe and have the below questions:

- Which Adobe Servers will be needed to stream Voice/Video through SIP Integration? (Adobe Media Server Extended is enough? )

- Is Unicast supported?

Thank you in advance.

Lara

Hello,

As long as cisco can read flv,mp4,mp3 and rtmp/http so yes

as your request is only for an on hold stream so you just need to request the stream from your cisco platform. so Any AMS wouldl be enough. I wonder also why you need AMS for that if it's only for a hold streaming?

Hi Robert,

Thank you for your prompt response. We need AMS for CUCM Video on Hold as Cisco used to integrate with Cisco Media Sense for this, and Media Sense is now End of Sale. So I'd like to know if anyone already tried to integrate CUCM and AMS and how this can be achieved. In case of Media Sense, the integration used to be through a SIP trunk.

Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

As media sense was web standard compliant so I don't see any objection to use AMS with cisco cum.

but the question is how do you want to use AMS with cisco, do you have any schema, code?
