Am i suppose to delete apache2.2?

I was facing an issue of apache2.2 listening to port 80 and over riding my original apache port so if i started apache it would use the 2.2 version instead of my external version.. solving this i just deleted apache 2.2 from the system.

How can i see if it solved my issue ? lol
