Hello,

I'm working on a project where we record live users broadcasts to flv files (Sorenson Spark + Speex).

We have a problem that hard to reproduce, but happens regularly to our client. Recorded streams has huge duration comparing to real recording duration. Stream inside has timestamp jump which leads to issue during stream playback both in FP and VLC. For example export of frames time of one problematic stream:

1184631    891120    11    AUDIO

1184657    891140    11    AUDIO

1184683    891160    11    AUDIO

1184709    891180    11    AUDIO

1184735    891200    11    AUDIO

1184761    25756971    11    AUDIO

1184787    25756991    11    AUDIO

1184813    25757011    11    AUDIO

1184839    25757031    11    AUDIO

1184865    25757051    11    AUDIO

FLVCheck result:

d:\Software\FLVCheck1.0>flvcheck user_stream_1232213_3.flv

FLVCheck version 4,5,1,484 - Utility to validate flv and mp4 media files.

Example of file: http://trembit.com/sandbox/test/user_stream_1232213_3.flv Which silent audio only, but gives good overview of how problem look. Playback jumps since 15 min of play.

Questions:

1. Is there tool to fix these timestamp jump?

2. What can be improved on FMS side to prevent stream corruption. Broadcaster users are known to have low end hardware with 1.7GHz CPU. Chrome browser in Win. And there is a chance that client PC was hang for some time.

Thanks,

Stan
