Question

AMS 5.0.3 on CentOS 6.4, client connections dropping

i have a video chat application with multple webcams displayed on the screen upon connection to the application.

when users select the chat option to auto-display the webcams on login, AMS disconnects the client a few seconds into the connection.

the client only disconnects from AMS, and stays connected to other apps on the server such as mumble.

for this particular application, i disabled Queueing and AggregateMessages, and set <OutChunkSize>512</OutChunkSize> to improve the smoothness of users' webcams.

AMS 5.0.1 on CentOS 5.9 did not do this.

what could have changed? any tips are greatly appreciated.

thanks!

if i raise the chunk size back to the default of 4096, it seems to fix the disconnection problems, but ends up causing horrible lag spikes on the client.

anyone have any idea what changed?

AMS 5.0.3 does not support CentOS 5.x, so i cannot go back.
