Question

AMS & Apache, also for websites - how?

I am trying to work out how to install and run AMS on a server which is already running Apache 2.2, which issued for hosting a website.

I want to be able to still keep the website and files there for hosting, but I want to integrate AMS so I can stream live video.

Please note I am using the trial version of AMS.

Any help anyone can give, I would appreciate.

Thanks

Jonny

Please check my article here: https://knowfms.wordpress.com/2011/09/29/how-to-set-up-your-external-apache-for-hds-and-hls/

Let me know if you face some issues.

Thanks.

Done all this. Now what?  What URL do I use? Do I need to change ports ?

Little bit confused and lost tbh!

Do you want to stream content on HDS, HLS (HTTP based technology) or RTMP.?

For live streaming on HTTP go through this http://help.adobe.com/en_US/flashmediaserver/devguide/WSd391de4d9c7bd609-52e437a812a3725dfa0-8000.html
