Question

Asynchronous I/O operation failed

Hi, I'm really new to Flash Media Server, I've encountered an error when I try to stream FLV from FMS. The error I got is:
Asynchronous I/O operation failed (Failed to attach to completion port: The parameter is incorrect. 87).
I had a look around, and it appears the problem could be because I have NOD32 on the computer, is there anyway that I can use Flash Media Server without having to disable or uninstall NOD32?

Or is this cause by something else, can anyone help, thank you.

Anyone help? or is there anyone that can point me to the right direction to look? I just like to set up the Flash Media Server to run properly on my computer.

Have you verified that FMS is running with your Antivirus disabled? If that's the case, I suggest you check with the vendor of NOD (eset?) if there's a way to configure NOD32 to be less intruisive and not disturb FMS. If this is no way to configure NOD32 that way, I would consider using a different antivirus since FMS should be the primary application on your server.

    Hey Thanks for replying,

I turned off NOD32 and tried, and it didn't work. But it's okay, I might give this issue a rest now. We've decided to just go ahead with progressive downloads, since the scale of the project probably don't require FMS for the moment.

    Thanks~!
