automatic instances

how can i have the flash media server create application instances automatically without requiring an admin connection from outside the server. as far as i understand it i can only use the admin classes from a client and all i can think of is some dirty solution using shell scripting... maybe i am just misunderstanding something here?

My guess is you're right about using the shell scripts, it would probably go against good security practice to allow you to set those up automatically outside the admin console.
