Question

Broadcasting Live (no cameras!)

Hello, what I want to do is play a video file (or rather a playlist consisting of several files) and stream them like they were a live video feed.

Everywhere I look for info on the Live stream capabilities of FMS is camera this, camera that, live encoder blah blah. But I haven't seen anything close to what I need to do.

Is this possible with FMS? Any help is appreciated.

    Yes it is possible; FMS can broadcast a file (or playlist) as a Live stream with name you assign.

    Please have a look at server-side Stream class & more specifically

    Stream.get() & Stream.play() APIs.
