Can I Install Adobe Media Server on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Server 64bit ?

I have a question, can I install Adobe Media Server 5.0.1 (Trial Version) on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Server 64bit ?

You can but remember that it’s not a supported platform.

I had to install libcap to get it working and I was on Ubuntu 12.10 64 bit.

Get the libcap 2.2.17 package distribution for Ubuntu from http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/libc/libcap2/libcap2_2.17-2ubuntu1.1_amd64.deb

Install the package using sudo dpkg -i libcap2_2.17-2ubuntu1.1_amd64.deb
