Can't get RTMPE to work

Hi,

I realise there are player restrictions for RTMPE, however I cannot seem to get this to work. I'm testing this with the default VOD application which works fine over RTMP.

I'm using the latest flash player (9,0,124,0), and playing the media through a class inheriting from the VideoPlayer class.

URL's
"rtmp://{server}/vod/mp3:audio" - This works
"rtmpe://{server}/vod/mp3:audio" - Does not work

Any ideas?

    Since you are using FLV playback component, RTMPE will work only with the playback component updated in CS3 Flash update released with Moviestar.

    An easy way to do that is to use FLV playback component embedded in vodtest.fla (comes with FMS3 installation in samples folder); which work with rtmpe.

    I am facing the same problem where rtmpe doesn't work but rtmp does
