Hi all

I want to do the live streaming on Adobe Media Server which installed in Win 2012 Server. The videos files should be encoded through the Adobe media encoder instead of using web cam to collect video files, so I have a question for the encoded video files, can I place the encoded files directly to the Adobe Media Server for live streaming?

I just find instruction for generate the live stream and manifest.f4m file from generator and connect it through the Adobe Live Media Encoder, but for my case, I am not using web cam and there is no location for import video files.

Please advise how to do,many thanks!

The video is saved using the F4V format. You can encode it to MP4 using a video encode such as Handbrake (free). Here is some instruction on how to encode using Handbrake:

but it is for purpose of multicast broadcasting video, it will be play the video and view by the audience at the same time.

By what location I put the mp4 file in the media server? I have no idea for this.
