Cannot install newest version of Adobe Flash Player on MacBook Pro

I am using Safari and OS10.7.5.  The install panel will not accept my password, even tho I changed it yesterday in case my records on that password were outdated.  I also checked and made sure that my account was paid in full and it is.  Any ideas on how to get this installed?

    That is most likely asking for your MAC password to prove that you have install permission
