Cannot stream hds-vod outside of local machine (Error 2048)
Hello,
I am experiencing issues streaming an hds-vod media outside of my local machine, where AMS is installed. My AMS is configured on Machine A, everything works with the Video Sampler and a custom HTML page created with the embeded code provided by the Video Sampler. I have a Machine B with IIS 7.5 that creates an application with Machine A's folder to be able to push it online. Configuration is working, I can go on the website and access normal media (mp4/mp3/image files) but when I am accessing the HTML page to watch the stream, I get an error 2048.
I have made sure that I have a crossdomain.xml in my rootinstall folder and it is very permissive, created with the help of the information/tutorial page on Adobe Devs. The Servers.xml is configured to give the good path.
If I look in the logs, there is no error messages from either AMS or Apache....
I am running out of options, anyone have information on this problem?
EDIT: Still having the issue, I am updating the list of fix I tried and that is not working
http://forums.adobe.com/message/2389480 - Create crossdomain.xml file and put it at the rootinstall folder. Did not fix the issue.
http://forums.adobe.com/thread/856844 - Modify the crossdomain.xml for it to be more permissive on security. Did not fix the issue.
Update the Servers.xml file to add the crossdomain.xml absolute path. Did not fix the issue.
Still looking for a solution...
